BioTravels and Tribulations
I often have bizaare luck, where everytime I travel, or change schools, or move, or whatever, something happens. Without fail. I have wild adventures where I start cars for strangers and accidentally call women dirty when i'm trying to explain that my laundry hasn't been cleaned...
As long as I come out alive, I usually learn something, or am grateful for my friends/family/home. It is weird, because I feel like I should break down and hate life, but there are so many good things all the time, too. This is a chronicle of those things, good and bad.
I have lots of long-term goals that I have to wait to accomplish because a lot of them depend on being employed, being settled in a permanent job and whatnot...but hopefully some of them will start happening soon and then you can read about them, too!:
- Get a job
- Travel to a new place once every two years
- Learn Spanish
- Adopt a dog
- Adopt a cat
- Get a New York Times Subscription
- Get an Economist Subscription
- Plant a vegetable garden
- Become a regular at my local farmer's market, so that the vendors recognize me and we talk about the weather and other things
- Go to graduate school
- Learn to waterski
